This button shows evidence of polishing hence some wear to high points on front. This button probably dates from the period 1908 -1914 and was most likely worn on the destinctive bottle green pre war uniform of the SIH.

Irish army officer's bronze bar and backing

1944 pattern bronze rank bar, nice attractive Celtic motifs and with a red plastic backing. The backing has a two lug type attachment.

Connaught Rangers Mutiny, papers etc.

Several items:- (a) An intersting hand written note, dated 1966 addresssed to A.Y. McPeake, editor of the Regimental Journal, (b) Newspaper cutting re. Lieutenant J.F. Blake O’ Sullivan of the Connaught Rangers, (c) Irish Independent cuttings (1970) relating to Pte. Daly and the mutiny of the Connaught Rangers in India. The newspaper deals with his re-interment in Ireland etc.

Royal Irish Constabulary Officer's metal buttons (4)

Four fine RIC officer quality metal buttons, all large and all maker marked “T.G. Phillips Dublin”. All buttons in great conditon except the fixing eye is broken and missing from three of them. The fourth button eye is present but damaged.

M.42 S/D German helmet

Single decal M.42 helmet, the shell is in great condition and the decal is 100% original. Retains most of its original green colour. A fine example of a World War Two combat hemet of the raw edge variety.

The only visible markings on the helmet is on the skirt. It appears to be "CK I 6 ? 2" below this is a batch number. Some numbers/letters difficult to make out. The liner is a modern repalacement. The cost of shipping is subsadised on this item, you pay only 4/5 Euro towards p&p.

St.John Ambulance Association, silver medal 1939

Lovely silver hallmarked medal with “1939″ bar, named on reverse B.M. Baldwin. B.M. Baldwin most likely saw much active service with the St. John Ambulance Association during World War 2. Worthy of further research.

RAD / Labour Corps cap badge, die struck example made from aluminium. This particular example is unfinished, possibley taken by Allies from German factory in 1945.
