The 4th. Royal Irish Dragoon Guards were amalgated with the 7th.D.G.'s in 1922.  The single brass shoulder title on offer here came about as a result of that amaglamation.  The title therefore is "4/7D.G.". These titles can be dated precisely More Info »

This is the post 1922 example of a brass shoulder title.  The 16th. & 5th. Lancers were formed in 1922, when unlike  other Irish regiments, the 5th. Royal Irish Lancers were not disbanded but amalgamated with the 16th. Hence the More Info »

Two piece brass shoulder title comprising brass flaming grenade and brass "Inniskillings" title.  Both items complete with lugs to reverse. This style of title was used from 1927 onwards.

Bronze Cav. badge worn by Irish soldiers serving with the Irish Army Cavalry Corps.  Probably dating from the 1950's

An exceptionally fine bronze collar badge as worn by members of the Army School of Music. This example is in excellent condition and probably dates to the Emergency period or before.

Single Royal Irish Fusiliers shoulder title, also known by the regiment as a "quail". Bi-metal in construction, the eagle being white metal underneath a gilt colour. So, because of the gilt, I suggest this item may be an officer's title.

A fine example of an Irish Army bronze collar badge to the Medical Corps, excellent condition.  This item dates no later than the Emergency period.

This rare badge was worn by those who served in the Irish Army Head Quarters, first designed and worn in 1924, this brass collar badge continued in use until the 1940's. Very good condition, with two lugs to reverse.

 This is a very attractive and relatively early brass collar badge worn by a member of the Irish Army Air Corps.  Very good condition, the motto reads "Fórfhaire agus Tairiseacht" which translates from the Gaelic " being alert and loyal".

This is the first pattern (1924) collar badge worn by the Irish Army Military Police.  It has the Gaelic wording "Diorma Póiliní an Airm" on the badge.  The later 1953 pattern had the word "Cor" instead of "Diorma". The other really More Info »
