Another Connaught Ranger officer button made to secure an epaulette to the tunic.  King's crown and virtually the same as the button listed below (1278) but in this case very slightly smaller than (1278)

Single, King's crown epaulette button used to secure an officer's shoulder epaulette to the tunic. Small to medium sized button with screw type fixing to reverse.

Victorian small to medium sized button with screw to reverse, used to secure a Victorian Connaught Ranger officer's epaulette to the tunic.  Maker marked to reverse. This button dates somewhere between 1894 -1902.

Nice quality officers large sized button circa 1912 1922, maker marked to reverse.  I have five of these in stock should you require more than one.

Two matching medium sized buttons used to secure an officers set of epaulettes to the tunic.  This is a fine pair with their correct securing pillars and screws.  Scarce items, pre 1914 in date and most likely Victorian.

A fine gilt example of an officers button from the uniform of the 18th. Royal Irish Regiment.  The button is in very good condition, a  little tarnished so could benefit from a good clean. Maker marked "Jennens & Co. London"  More Info »

Three most attractive officer quality buttons belonging to the" Prince of Wales'es Leinster Regiment Royal Canadians". Two of the buttons are quite small and may be from a mess dress, alternatively they could be from an officers cap.  Maker marked More Info »

Another hard to come by officer's quality button to the 88th. Regt. of Foot - the  Devil's Own - Connaught Rangers. This is an early example of an officers tunic button and according to Col. H.F.N. Jourdain in Vol. 2 of More Info »

Nice and rare officers pattern button, tunic size. According to the Regimental History of the Connaught Rangers by Col. H.F.N. Jourdain, these buttons were only in use for 13 years between 1881 and 1894.  Maker marked to reverse "Jennens & More Info »

These buttons were worn on the vest of the mess dress by an officer in the Connaught Rangers.  According to the Regimental History of the Connaught Rangers these buttons can date anywhere between 1848 -1922.  The example for sale here More Info »

A very scarce enlisted mans button to the SIY.  The South of Ireland Imperial Yeomanery existed only between 1902 and 1908.  From 1908 until disbandment in 1922 they were known as the South Irish Horse.

Eight officers quality buttons, completely matching and all maker marked “Jennens & Co. London” These buttons would be ideal to restore a scarlet officer quality tunic to the Prince of Wales'es Leinster Regiment.  

Very scarce South of Ireland Imperial Yeomanrybutton belonging to an officer in the SIY. This unit only existed for 8 years, when in 1908, they became the South Irish Horse. Officers quality button, maker marked to reverse "Jennens & Co. London" More Info »

Scarce, other ranks white metal button to the Kilkenny Militia, tinic pattern dating from 1855 to 1881. Maker marked to reverse. There is a bit of rust which prevents seeing the maker mark on reverse clearly. But definitely London made. More Info »

Nice white metal button to an officer in the North Irish horse, Kings crown, probably from a pre WW1. dress uniform. Approx 20mm’s in diameter.

Dublin University (Trinity College) Officers Training Corps (O.T.C.) button. Maker marked “Pim Bros. Dublin” Large button, brass. V. good condition.    

Medium sized brass SIH button.        

This button is in fantastic condition for its age. “Balbriggan Cavalry” silvered button from the period of the 1798 Rebellion. The button measures about 17mm’s in diameter.
