1931/42 issue collar badge to the Supply and Transport Corps. Unusual in that it has long prongs to reverse rather than the more common lugs. I believe that the prongs pre-date the use of lugs on these badges and therefore most likely early 30′s vintage. In excellent condition this die struck badge is made from a coppery bronze type metal.
Badge depicts a chariot in the foreground, castle behind and all surrounded by a laurel wreath. The inscription in Gaelic script reads “Seirbhis Solathair agus Iompair”
