In excellent condition, this gilt cap badge is worn by the Irish Navy. Identical in design to the standard Irish Defence Forces badge but in gilt and smaller in shape. Two lugs to reverse.
The Naval badge is approx 32mms in diameter. However a standard Irish Defence Forces (Army) cap badge is larger and approx. 40mms in diameter.
