This is a good quality piece of Irish Regimental history. It is a genuine Connaught Rangers cap badge. The badge is brass and was struck from a die. It has a King’s crown dating the piece to the 1902 – 1922 period.

The badge has all the features of an original item,it’s not a copy or re-strike. There is for example a void between the bottom of the crown and top of the harp. The strings are also voided.
The reverse of this badge has a slider for securing the badge to a service cap.
