The badge which is in great condition, has very little service wear. The one piece bronzed badge comprises a king’s crown (accurately dating the peice to 1902 -1922) with void below the crown, leading to a six voided stringed harp. The scroll beneath the harp has the words – THE ROYAL IRISH REGIMENT –
The reverse of this peice has the two typical attachment blades one finds on officers cap badges of this era.
A nice quality addition to an Irish regimental collection.
