An interesting read, the final edition of An tÓglac for the year in which the civil war in Ireland came to an end. There is a stain on the front of this edition and central pages 11 – 14 are missing. However, it is still a great and insightful periodical. Some amusing cartoon drawings are to be found inside as well as, discipline in the army, an account of the 1798 rebellion, details of the Curragh Command, the army and the Dáil, list of subscribers to the Keogh Memorial fund, boxing in the Curragh, billiards in Portobello Bks. etc etc.
Also included is a very useful list of official appointments, resignations and discharges in the army.
Perhaps the strength of this edition is the number of articles that include names of officers an men of the army.
