Thomas Leetham Wall, MC (20 June 1888 – 1958) was an officer of the 5th Irish Lancers.
Wall, who rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel was a highly decorated officer who saw extensive service during the Great War, his medal entitlement included the following:
– Military Cross (London Gazette 3-6-1918 (31-5-1918) Announcement – No Citation
– 14 Star (Mons Star)
– British War Medal
– Victory Medal (Mentioned in Dispatches 11-12-1917)
After the war and in 1928 he was one of the candidates to the Folkestone Rural District of Elham. At that stage his address was – Bladbean Stud Farm, Elham.( he is recorded as being a “Retired Army officer”).

The silver cup itself is in really nice condition. There are no dents or scrapes.
