Description
The 4th. Royal Irish Dragoon Guards were amalgated with the 7th.D.G.’s in 1922. The single brass shoulder title on offer here came about as a result of that amaglamation. The title therefore is “4/7D.G.”. These titles can be dated precisely between 1922 – 1936 when the regiment was re-designated as “4/7 Royal Dragoon Guards”.
