Description

This is quite a curiosity and a good talking point. It is a paper bag which measures about 32 cms by 24cms. It was supplied by the German Air Raid protection people during the Second World War. The idea being that the bag would be filled with sand, which could be used to put out fires caused by allied bombing. Lots of interesting writing printed on the bag! Excellent condition and clearly unused. It is very surprising that paper items like this still survive from the Third Reich era.
