Description
Here we have a nice set of cap and collar badges, that are commonly described as the later pattern badge with the more recent Gaelic script, where the “t” is dropped from the spelling of the word “Sío”t”cána” This spelling came into use on the Garda insignia in the 1940’s.
The badges are die struck in white metal. All lugs are present on reverse of the badges save for the cap badge where a single lug is missing.
