Description
This oval shaped gilt badge is in very good condition. There is very very slight loss to the gilt due to service wear. The central design in the badge is the arms of the City of Dublin with its 3 castles in white metal. Below this is a ship in the harbour. This motif is surrouned by the words DUBLIN PORT & DOCKS BOARD -on a blue background and with an anchor at the base of the belt.
The badge is struck from brass/copper. It has two lugs to reverse to secure to a cap. Overall the piece is in very good condition.
