Description
Here we have a dye struck brass Royal Dublin Fusiliers badge with a long slider. It is unusual to find glengarry type badges with these long sliders. This leads me to think that this particular example was worn on a pith helmet with the slider being slid behind the pugaree (the light scarf worn around the helmet).
I recently acquired this item as part of an old collection of Irish military badges.
