This bi-metal shoulder title was once worn by an officer in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers on the epaulet of the officer’s tunic. This example shows evidence of service wear and is well polished as is evident on the silver tiger and elephant.
Please note that on this example, the flames on the ball of the grenade rest flat along the upper bar of the title. In most other examples of this type of shoulder title there is a gap between the bottom of the flames and the top of the title bar.
The lugs are no longer present on this example.
