Three great medium sized buttons, worn by an officer of the Royal Irish Constabulary circa 1902 – 1922.  See images and description for more details.

Description

These buttons have a central harp design, with the words ROYAL IRISH CONSTABULARY surrounding the harp, above a King’s crown. This dates the buttons to the period between 1902 – 1922, a turbulent time in Irish history.

The two medium sized buttons each measure approx  20mms in diameter, with one button maker marked to reverse SUPERB QUAILITY. The other button is unmarked on reverse.

The smaller button measures 18mms approx. This exampled is maker marked W. DOWLER & SONS BIRM.

All three buttons are in very good condition with some evidence of service wear.  Please view images for a closer look.
