This is a large sized button, with a Victorian crown above the Irish harp and surrounded by the wrods “ROYAL IRISH CONSTABULARY”

This pre 1902 button is maker marked John —- Dublin.  This is John Ireland of Ellis’es Quay Dublin. This company was the main supplier of unifroms and equipment to the R.I.C.

The button would benefit from a light clean.
