Description

The Royal Irish Rangers trace their origins to the 27th Inniskilling Fusiliers and the 83rd & 87th regiment of foot. The Royal Irish Rangers was a regular regiment of the British Army formed in 1968. The regiment was amalgamated in 1992 with other Irish Regiments to form The Royal Irish Regiment.

This is a bi metal brass and white metal cap badge with a Queen’s Crown and a slider to the rear. It is accompanied by a metal Royal Irish Rangers badge which I think was a fob.

This is a well made and relatively heavy badge in shiny silvery white metal and gilt / brass. Condition is almost mint.
