A fine black leather holster, complete with its straps – worn by a member of the Royal Ulster Constabulary.

This style of holster was worn since the early 1900’s and had not changed in design until they were taken out of service in the 1960’s.
This piece is in great condition and the leather is really good and strong.
This example has a manufacturers stamp on the reverse: “HOBSON & SONS 1952”. The date confirms without question that this was an RUC issue piece.
