Description
This is a large tunic button, a quality officer’s type. Made from blackened metal, it is in mint condition. This button measures 26mms in diameter, closed back type. The maker mark to back is Jennens & Co. London.
The button obverse comprises a King’s crown above the Maid of Erin harp. Beneath the harp is a scroll with the name ROYAL IRISH RIFLES. Scolloped pattern to edge. A fantastic original piece in mint conditon. I have a limited, small quantity of these buttons, so more than one may be ordered.
