Description

This is a green painted Mk 2 Brodie helmet issued to a member of the Irish Police during the Emergency period here in Ireland. It has the original white stensiled GARDA wording to the front.  This helmet was maufactured in 1939 by the Fisher & Ludlow Company  of Birmingham.  The helmet shell is clearly stamped F&L  108   1/1939.  The liner is no longer present, most likely removed for storage.  Very few of these original Garda helmets are in existance.  This item is guaranteed original and untocuhed.  Please take a good look at the images for more information
