This original medal is in very good condition, it was awarded for service during the Irish War of Independence between 1917 and 1921.

Description

This 1917-21 service medal without “Comhrac” bar is in very good condition. The original medal ribbon is particularly nice with no discoloration, rips or tears.
The medal clasp pin and disc are also in good collectable condition.
These medals were awarded to men and women who took an active part in the War of Independence in roles such as Cumann na mBan, Fianna Eireann and other support roles.
